FTS is the first event dedicated to Southern Italian tourism, built with editorial care and international vision. For buyers, it is a selective and qualified company of peers and suppliers — not a marketing pavilion.
QUALITY
80 curated exhibitors. 80 selected buyers. Every meeting matters, because everyone at the table has been chosen.
TERRITORY
Four Southern regions. Calabria, Sicily, Apulia, Basilicata. The destinations Northern Italy has not yet saturated.
PROFESSION
Professionals only. Tour operators, MICE, luxury, specialised media. Selection is curated personally by the FTS team.

Accommodation covered
Accommodation in partner property for the duration of the fair, airport transfers included. Flight is at your expense.

Pre-scheduled B2B meetings with exhibitors selected based on your interests. Minimum five meetings per day.

Welcome dinner
Off-programme dinner in a memorable venue, reserved for the Buyers Circle and Signature exhibitors. Strictly by invitation.

Curator's tour
Guided visit of a Magna Grecia site with the fair's curator, scheduled the day before opening.

Dispatches
Automatic subscription to FTS Dispatches — quarterly letters on the edition, destinations and producers.
All of this is offered free of charge to selected buyers. It is FTS's way of saying thank you to those who travel to be here.
WHO WE LOOK FOR
The Buyers Circle profile.
- ·Decision-maker with direct purchasing authority in tour operators, DMCs, MICE planners, specialised travel agencies or industry media.
- ·At least two years of experience in the tourism sector and a documentable portfolio of products / experiences.
- ·Documented interest in Southern Italy, the Mediterranean or destinations of cultural, gastronomic, luxury or MICE character.
- ·Willingness to actively participate in the programme — minimum five B2B meetings per day and welcome dinner.
- ·Ability to communicate in Italian or English at intermediate level.
Applying does not constitute automatic acceptance. Every profile is reviewed personally by the FTS team. Selection is final.

What is useful to know.
Is there a fee to join the Buyers Circle?+
No. Participation is free of charge for selected buyers. The fair covers accommodation and airport transfers for the duration of the edition. The flight is at the buyer's expense.
When and where will FTS 2026 take place?+
The first edition of Fiera Turismo Sud will take place in Calabria in 2026. The exact date and venue will be communicated to confirmed buyers well in advance.
How many B2B meetings are required?+
A minimum of five meetings per day with selected exhibitors. The matchmaking programme starts four weeks before the fair and allows you to select exhibitors of interest and pre-schedule appointments.
Can I apply even if my company doesn't currently operate in Italy?+
Yes, provided you can demonstrate strategic interest in Southern Italy or the Mediterranean. Indicate it clearly in the 'FTS interest' section of the form.
How does the selection process work?+
Each application is reviewed individually by the FTS team. We assess professional profile, company positioning, alignment with edition exhibitors, and geographical diversity of the Circle. Response within five business days.
What happens if I receive an invitation but can no longer attend?+
We ask that you let us know at least thirty days before the event. We work with waiting lists and can reassign the place. No-show without notice prejudices future applications.
